SOCENT researcher Aleksandra Szymanska selected for the Penn Social Impact Doctoral Fellowship Programme

SOCENT researcher Aleksandra Szymanska, from the VUB, is one of the five researchers selected among 50 applicants for the Penn Social Impact Doctoral Fellowship Programme, to be held from June 2 to June 24, 2015 at The University of Pennsylvania. Congratulations to Aleksandra!

The paper she submitted for the Programme, entitled "Capital Structure of Social Purpose Companies – A Panel Data Analysis", by Aleksandra Szymanska, Stijn Van Puyvelde and Marc Jegers, will be presented by SOCENT professor Marc Jegers during the next IAP-Day, to take place in Louvain-la-Neuve on May 8, 2015.

The programme will explore emerging issues in the world of nonprofit organizations, voluntary action, philanthropy, social enterprise, and international civil society. For more details about the programme, see here.
